Dr. Wonka

What's this you ask? First and foremost, it's the Kiriban award for my 2222nd visitor - =hotaru-sama666. This is her character, Dr. Ryan dressed up as Roald Dahl's Willie Wonka from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Why is Dr. Ryan dressed as Willie Wonka? Is this his evil personality? Is this an alternate reality where he runs a candy factory? Is it Halloween, or a costume party in the lower rings of hell? Is he simply in disguise to lure innocent children away from their loving parents with promises of sweet sweet candy?

Dr. "Wonka" was drawn in the style of =hotaru-sama666 as a deliberate homage to her style. I believe her characters are uniquely hers because of several trademark techniques which I attempted to immitate while still adding my own interpretation on the piece. He is wearing a costume more reminiscent of the Johnny Depp version simply because it suited his colouring more.

So - I'm not sure I'm feeling the candy. The background was plain before - but now it's crazy like. Opinions, ideas, suggestions?

*edit* Ahem - and lest we forget, Dr. Wonka's incredible tail. The secret they say... is in the candy.
